About the Word Unscrambler
This word unscrambler finds all valid English words that can be made from a set of scrambled letters. Enter any combination of letters and it returns every dictionary word that uses some or all of those letters. Results are sorted by length so longer words (which score more in word games) appear first.
Useful for solving scrambled word puzzles in newspapers and apps, Jumble and Scrabble challenges, and Text Twist-style games. Also helpful for vocabulary building — unscrambling a set of letters and seeing all the possible words is a great way to discover words you hadn't considered. Supports up to 15 letters.
Frequently asked questions
How is this different from the Anagram Solver?
The unscrambler finds every valid word using any subset of the given letters, grouped by length. The anagram solver finds only words that use all letters exactly once. Both are useful for word puzzles.
Why are very short results omitted?
Two-letter words are included; one-letter results would be just every letter you typed, which isn't useful. The minimum length keeps the output focused on real words.
